Executive Personal Assistant to the Founder & CEO
Location: Downtown Brighton, MI | Full-Time | High-Responsibility Role
Foguth Financial Group is a nationally recognized investment advisory and wealth management firm headquartered in Downtown Brighton, Michigan. We are seeking a highly capable Executive Personal Assistant to support our Founder & CEO, Michael Foguth — a high-performing entrepreneur, author, and leader of multiple companies.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact position for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and operates with the urgency, precision, and discretion required to support an executive with a packed schedule, significant business responsibilities, and a large family.
If you are ambitious, organized, proactive, and energized by being “two steps ahead,” this role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with a nationally visible CEO and play an integral part in his daily efficiency and success.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
Executive & Personal Support
- Manage and protect the CEO’s calendar with a proactive, forward-thinking approach
- Anticipate needs, prepare for upcoming obligations, and remove obstacles before they arise
- Screen and route incoming calls, emails, visitors, and requests (personal + professional)
- Handle urgent or time-sensitive changes, including occasional after-hours requests (e.g., travel adjustments)
- Coordinate all travel arrangements — business, personal, and family — including itineraries, logistics, and changes
- Serve as liaison between the CEO and internal staff, family members, external partners, and vendors
Family & Household Management
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and projects involving the CEO’s family
- Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and residential project teams
- Monitor inventories, manage returns, track credits, and oversee household operational needs
Administrative & Operational Excellence
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, events, and conferences
- Take notes, track action items, and follow up on task completion
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information at all times
- Support miscellaneous personal tasks and requests to keep the CEO’s day running smoothly
- Work closely with the main office to execute daytoday needs
Note: Up to 80% of this role’s daily tasks support the CEO’s personal and family‑related needs, with the remaining 20% of the time focused on professional responsibilities across multiple companies.
What Success Looks Like
You are:
- Always two steps ahead
- Calm under pressure and able to pivot quickly
- Extremely organized with impeccable follow-through
- Confident handling high expectations and high responsibility
- Comfortable supporting a fast-moving executive with a demanding schedule
- A natural problem-solver who jumps in wherever needed
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Microsoft Outlook & Microsoft 365 Super User
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities with efficiency
- Proactive, resourceful, and capable of independent decision-making
- Experience supporting executives or high-net-worth individuals (preferred but not required)
This Role Is NOT for Everyone
This role is demanding and fast-paced. It requires:
- Comfort with occasional after-hours requests
- Ability to manage both personal and professional responsibilities
- A mindset of ownership rather than “task completion”
- High discretion, loyalty, and professionalism
- A willingness to handle a wide range of requests, both big and small
If you thrive in high-performance environments and enjoy being indispensable to an executive’s daily success, you will excel here.
