Foguth Financial Group was established in 2009 by Michael Foguth with the mission to remove barriers to maximize retirement dollars and reduce the financial pressures of those nearing or in retirement.
Michael started with in-home client appointments, before opening our first office in 2011 in Howell, Michigan. In 2016, after many years of rapid growth, Foguth Financial Group moved to its current headquarters in Brighton, Michigan. In 2019, Foguth Financial Group opened its first satellite office in Northville, Michigan. Since then, Michael has been able to expand his advisory and support staff across 11 office locations to conveniently service clients in-person. From simple beginnings, Foguth Financial Group has expanded to meet the needs of its clientele. Today, Michael and his team are dedicated to educating their clients so they can make informed financial decisions.

Michael Foguth is a nationally recognized financial educator, author, entrepreneur, and the founder of Foguth Financial Group, a retirement-focused wealth management firm based in Brighton, Michigan. With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Michael is known for helping individuals, families, and business owners take control of their financial future with clarity, strategy, and confidence.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael is a dedicated husband, father, and community supporter. He lives in Brighton, Michigan, with his wife and their six children, where he actively participates in youth sports, charitable initiatives, and local development projects. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, and a graduate of Drake University, Jeff still calls Des Moines home. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, their two sons and daughter, and the family’s golden retriever. Andie Wolfe is the Marketing Coordinator at Foguth Financial Group, bringing a dynamic background in athletics, leadership, and service. She began her college career at Michigan State University, where she studied Kinesiology and played on the women’s soccer team. She later transferred to the University of Oklahoma, continuing her soccer career and earning a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies with a minor in Marketing.
Andie’s passion for teamwork and community has been shaped by her experience working at youth soccer camps and an assisted living home in East Lansing. She is a former Michigan Jewish Athlete of the Year, a Big Ten Regular Season Champion, and was named to the 2024 SEC Soccer Player Watch List.
Born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan, Andie loves playing soccer, pickleball, and golf, and enjoys time on the lake with her family. With three siblings and a strong sense of community, she values connection, giving back, and bringing energy and heart to everything she does.

He is known for developing and executing multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and brand growth, combining strategic vision with hands-on expertise in photography, videography, and digital design. Preston’s career includes time with Vail Resorts, work as a Midwest Content Specialist, and over 15 years as an Art Director, where he led creative direction across a wide range of marketing initiatives. He holds a bachelor’s degree and is a certified Part 107 drone pilot, with industry recognition including National Builder Marketing Design Awards and Vail Video Production Awards.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Preston grew up embracing the outdoors and developed a lifelong passion for creativity and storytelling. After building his career in Florida, he has called Michigan home for the past 13 years. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, golfing, and skiing, as well as spending time with his girlfriend and her two daughters.

Trevor serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Foguth Financial Group, bringing more than 15 years of expertise in corporate, professional, and executive recruitment. With a proven track record in optimizing hiring processes, enhancing employer branding, and building high-performing teams, he has helped organizations scale during pivotal periods of growth. Prior to joining FFG, Trevor led the salaried recruitment team at RealTruck, Inc., where his leadership played a critical role in expanding the company’s workforce from 2,000 to over 5,000 employees. He also holds six industry certifications, including specialized credentials in Veteran Recruitment and Diversity & Inclusion Hiring.
A Hartland native, Trevor has proudly called Livingston County home since childhood and is excited to use his skills to strengthen the community where he grew up. He and his wife, Hayley, live in Hartland with their young son, Cooper. Outside of work, Trevor is dedicated to family life and enjoys being part of the local community, finding great fulfillment in helping build strong teams that make a lasting impact right here at home.
