Foguth Financial Group is a financial services firm that is internally driven to help individuals and families to find peace and purpose for their money. We have a track record of exceeding client expectations and fostering relationships within our local communities. We are currently expanding our team, and we are looking for a Paralegal in Brighton to be a part of our continued growth.

 

The Paralegal – Estate and Trust Management will play a vital role in supporting our clients’ estate planning needs by acting as a liaison between our firm, clients, and our external legal services partner. This individual will assist with the coordination and management of client documents, trust and estate workflows, and communication processes to ensure a smooth client experience.

 

Regular activities will include:

  • Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding estate planning-related inquiries, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
  • Liaison Duties: Work closely with external legal services provider (SAAS) to facilitate the drafting, review, and execution of trust documents, wills, and other estate planning documents.
  • Documentation Management: Organize, track, and maintain records of client estate planning documents and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor workflows between clients and external legal services provider, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are efficiently managed.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure all documents and communications align with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with financial advisors to incorporate estate planning insights into comprehensive wealth management strategies.

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience, ideally in estate planning, trusts, or related areas.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient with technology and able to learn new systems quickly, including Microsoft 365, CRM software, and estate planning SaaS (e.g., Wealth.com)
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
    • Familiarity with estate planning terminology and documentation.
